I'm bringing as much as I can and what I might need, but I just won't have anywhere to put them in my jeep while we're on the trails.

Quick question for y'all in TN (preferably the Nashville area). I'm looking to buy a truck in Nashville and I'm from the most southern part of Alabama. Is there anyone on here that would be able to swing by and check a truck out for me before I drive 7 hours one-way? It is a 2005 Dodge 2500 diesel 2wd and it is at a place called Executive Auto Sales in Nashville. I'm looking to go up tomorrow.

Yeah it's funny to me because people always say "u need spare parts". Well guess what's gonna happen when you break something and realize all those guys were right about having spare parts? ........ You're gonna realize you and them are really idiots because how tha fuck are you gonna use them with no tools to change them out!! Haha so either bring no spare parts and no tools, spare parts and tools, or just tools incase you wanna be someone else's trail side Dr. For the most part, a socket and wrench set is all you need. If you got a 10,12,14,17,19,24,26, and whatever the axle nut size is, like 34mm, then you can work on 95% of your truck. A 10 in 1 screwdriver, a jack, a few extensions, a swivel socket, some zipties, pb blaster, wd 40, gasket maker, rags, duct tape, electrical tape, a quart of engine and trans oil, battery jumper cables, starter fluid, a mini sledge, a big c-clamp, rope, bungee cords, ratchet straps, .......... just a few tools I carry in my truck

 

there's a few folks in Nashville on here that may be able to help. Is it just that you don't trust the ad or what?

 

As far as tools zach and I are about 35-40 minutes away so if something Does happen and we don't have said tool I'm sure one of us will have it.

 

I do but it would make me feel a lot more comfortable driving 7hours knowing that someone has looked at it (and maybe even drive it). I've found that most TW people are trustworthy.

 

well I'd say anyone that is willing to go look at something like that for someone they don't know is probably pretty cool. Haha so what if you asked someone, they went and test drove it and then bought it?

 

That's a no on fireworks at windrock for the 4th....any ideas?

I just called their office and left a vmail for them to call me back tomorrow morning regarding all the camping and fees and what not. Someone that has my number call me around 12 tomorrow and remind me to follow up with them please if they haven't called me back.

 Reservations are subject to availability.
 A major credit/debit card is required to hold Cabin and RV reservations.
 Accepted forms of payment: cash, Visa, MasterCard
 NO REFUNDS on campground rentals, reservations, permits, or merchandise. This includes inclement
weather conditions. Off-roading and camping are outdoor activities/experiences and we cannot control
the weather.
 No fireworks allowed.
 Do not touch the planted trees.
 Please keep off of the grass.
 Responsible consumption of alcohol is permitted.
 Fires are permitted in designated fire pits/fire rings only.
 Do not move fire rings or picnic tables without approval from management.
 No littering. All garbage must be placed in trash receptacles.
 Please limit OHV riding to trails only.
 Keep children and pets in your line of sight at all times and please clean up after your pet.
 Do NOT wash OHVs in the RV area.
 Limit of 6 people per RV / tent site.
 Limit of 2 tow vehicles per RV / tent site.
 Limit of 1 tent per primitive site and 1 RV per RV site.
 All visitors must register at office to receive campground parking permit.
 Absolutely NO enclosed trailers or RVs in the primitive camping area-TENTS ONLY.
 No generators allowed in primitive camping area.
 We reserve the right to discharge any person(s) for failing to abide by our rules.


These are what concern me the most. I kinda understand the fireworks since it is a heavily wooded area. But no more than 6 people 1 tent and no pop up. As well as 2 tow vehicles. I mean I am guessing you all will have to get multiple camp sites and hopefully can get them side by side, then park a 2 trucks at each site. But it seems like they may or may not come by at night and remove people for having more than 6 people at the site at any time. Hopefully I can get some clarification tomorrow.

 

Yeah I'm confused. 1 tent per camp site? So we will need 12 fucking campsites? This makes no sense.

I've seen people get one site and have multiple tents, rigs, trailers, ect. Not sure why they say one per site

 

Yeah Idk. All I know is I'm not camping by my fuckin self when we got 10+ people. They can suck my balls.
