Ive been looking at them aswell. Problem is, starting in August I have to drive 20 miles a day 5 days a weeks. That is only to school and back, not including other reasons to be driving around each day.

 

Why can't the Taco do 10 miles?

 

That isn't too far, and it would a hell of a lot more fun as long as It isn't stop and go traffic. One of my friends was getting around 22 or so in a wrx.

Why are you selling?

 

Doing the Gas Pie Line trail from Black Canyon City back South to Table Mesa Road on Saturday morning if anyone is interested. It is an easy run with a few challenges, most have bypasses (except culvert under I-17). Should be about a 2-3 hr run total. Meeting up at Danny's/Shell station at Happy Valley road at 0600 if anyone wants to join. Will have my little kids with me, as will a few other trucks, so family friendly. Prerunner might be able to do it hitting a couple of the bypasses, but personally I wouldn't do it without 4x4.

Also, the 4x4ham group is doing a night run of the same trail on July 12th. Should be a full moon with lots of visibility.

Meet up time will be 7:00 PM Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the Chevron Station at I-17 and the Carefree Highway. We will leave the Chevron Station at 7:30 PM and proceed to Black Canyon City where the trail begins. The run should take about 2 and a half hours, depending on the size of the group. Driving 20+ miles a day five days a week just to go to school. Not including all the other driving I do during the day.

 

I did that almost every day for the last year and a half till I got transferred buildings

 

I drive 26 miles to work, so 50+ a day round trip; 5 days a week.

 

Well averaging 16mpg on the freeway blows
