How do you like the front runner roof basket? I'm looking at either that or the baja

Hey, Have you every considered the fiberglass front flares what are your thoughts and you think it would be even possible with the all pro apex bumper?

I have considered Glass but I actually don't love the pre-runner. I love the way the trimmed factory fenders look giving it more room without the bulge. I don't rub my fenders at all so Glass is probably something I won't ever mess with.

Glass would work with the Apex bumper (their Brownie Build has modified glass) but the lines of most all plate bumpers are made to line up with factory fenders. Most running fiberglass run a wider tube style bumper.

Absolutely love it! I wouldn't buy any other rack personally. I have had numerous other brands and after getting this SlimLine2 from FrontRunner my search for the perfect roof rack has ended :D

I found the PERFECT location for my ARB twin compressor.

Tucked in-between the TruckVault and the bedside and nestled under the CargoGlide.

Easy access to plug in the air hose and out of site enough for the pesky robbers.

The factory cargo box was removed and an aluminum plate cut to match the factory holes for mounting. The compressor then mounted to the plate.

You also might have noticed the SureFire sticker on my rear window... Stand by for more info on what products of theirs are going on my build. I'll give you a hint, HellFighter!!! :D

I read your post and thought "no way, nothing from sure fire is cheap" so I decided to check it out for myself. ....

Holy Hell! The price tag is outragous for a light!

$5455.00. Whatever it is/does it must be amazing.

Says its a heavy weapon light..... so does that mean the next mod is a roof mounted mini-gun? :notsure: :)

Nice truck Sean. I wish I had your time, money, and Garage :)

Following along for a while, and I'm guessing the HellFighter Lamp will
probably be mounted on the roof rack, along with another device?

Someone mentioned your ex-military, so I'm also guessing since the
hellfighter ( not the Grumman WWII prop plane ) is a heavy gun spot lamp, that the added feature would be something like a GO-LIGHT remote
control turntable to control the lamp on a (Magnetic) or bolted turntable?

I was looking at GO_LIGHT last year, but I didn't like the flood and spot
outputs of the Go-Light mounts. They max out at something like
350,000 candle power, while the Hellfighter is around 800,000.

So, my guess is that you are getting Surefire to create a control/platform like the GO-LIGHT setup or something similar to mount the light, then remove it when you park the truck?

This is, of course, a purely wild guess. :)

[ I was wanting to do something similar, but the time and cost was
    out of my league ]

I would love a gun mount and don't be surprised if I do "pull the trigger" on doing that someday lol

You pretty much hit the nail on the head! TurnTables will be happening. I am playing with locations right now but to get the most out of these HellFighters they will have to be mounted on top of the roof rack. I don't have a plan right now on adding a gun mount or anything else but things always change :D I was fortunate enough to partner with SureFire on some ongoing initiatives after being a long time customer (almost a SureFire flashlight hoarder lol).

Dang it! Yep, I'm going to need bigger lights lol

Just a random wide angle shot next to some heavy equipment.

I love the way the All-Pro sliders cast a shadow on the ground and a reflection on the door panels!
