Never heard of it but it seems like it would be pretty fun.

    Check the build thread.
Since this is the NW WA meet thread...
Is anyone attending the NW Overland Rally in Plain, WA this weekend?

I will be out there camping and would love to check out some local builds.

Id love to go and see your rig Sean but I have a cadaver lab to go to Saturday for a college class... The lab will be fun (since I want to go into the medical field) but i'd rather go to the meet!

I would love to come. But driving means money, which is a premium right now!

I know that issue. Want to bring him over and I'll help. The women can keep themselves company, and so can the 1 year olds...

Cool, getting the itch again myself. I've been plugging away at this 2nd battery and aux fuse panel installation the past few days. Last week I put sound deadener on the front doors, repainted stuff, got rid of the fabric armrests, replaced a side mirror and taillight. I have to fix my broken antenna and wire a handful of OTRATTW switches after the 2nd battery is done. I have to work from home this week and next week so the truck is getting a bit of extra attention. :anonymous:

Your one year old is probably more trustable with power tools than yours truly. I got a bit careless late at night a couple weeks ago and decided to hold down a ring terminal with my hand while drilling it out a little:

Got caught on the drill and swung around and went right through the pad of my index finger:

Felt like I got pinched in the chuck but when I looked down, pad of index finger was flapping down and blood everywhere. That slowed down my modding for about a week.

Oh yeah, I forgot about your little finger problem. Is it almost back to normal?

Let that be your lesson to not use power tools while under the influence...

Also, it is easy to find ring terminals in bigger sizes for larger lugs. What size bolt is the ring terminal for and what gauge of wire? I probably have a few large sizes here I can mail to you.

If anyone is free tomorrow I am planning on heading up Hwy 2 to Beckler road and checking out where the snow is at.

Good luck. You probably won't find much and what is there won't be worth wheeling in.

Im not trying to go snow wheeling. I go up every year to the top of road 6520. Goes to the top of the mountain along a ridge and you get amazing views of the whole range. Some secret camp spots up there too

 Duly noted. As you'd expect, this all happened at 09:00PM on a Friday so emergency room. I was trying to get to a good stopping point and didn't want to wait a couple days to order new ring terminals. The wire attached to the ring terminal held my hand tight against the drill when it happened which made it worse.

Ring terminal I need is 3/8", 0/1 gauge. That should cover all of my 0/1 gauge needs. :p
