So i bought a used '08 and the outlet doesn't work. I checked the fuses and I've got nothing else. I saw something about there being something connected to it in the center console. My problem with that is that, the previous owner installed a sub woofer in the console and it is about 1.5" deep and the only thing in there is a bass adjuster. What am I missing?

On a side note. What is the switch on the dash with two different voltages on it for?

    Thanks in advance.

I believe that is the switch that turns on your 120 volt inverter that powers the outlet in the bed.

It doesn't light up or do anything. I tried pushing it and running something from the outlet. Nothing.

Take the console out and see if previous owner took the inverter out when they installed the sub.

It will be at the bottom rear when you remove the console.

Not what I wanted to hear...The console's back was cut out down to the floor to accommodate the sub, So I guess I'll have to pull both.
