Get it while you can, FJs are dead next year.

 

used ones will be floating around for years. I want to like them but every time I look at them I'm reminded that 1st Gens are awesome.

Man, that was a quick sesh.

 

My brother has an FJ.

I hate them.

Horrible ride, can't see sh*t and pretty much one of the uglier vehicles I've seen (yes, some of the built up ones are really nice).

Plus every time I see the three 7" wipers sweep across the windshield, it makes me want to punch a puppy in the face.

 

Fred's (tacticalbacon13) rides pretty nice but he has kings all around...

 

I wear Adidas or chucks but there are some sweet Nikes out these days.

Dcabs are cool but I think you would miss the bed space.

I was looking at second gens for a while than I realized I was just bored with my truck.

Buy some new mods and you'll fall in love again.

 

Question for those running MT/Rs, how are they in the snow? I know it's a MT and they typically don't do well in snow unless sipped.

I have plenty I still want to get done. I'm at that age where most prospects have a kid or two. Kind of hard to get them interested in off-roading when there isn't room for the little ones.

 

I find myself to be the luckiest man alive.

My GF is fine with the fact that I'm 40 and have 100% custody of my daughter. She doesn't have kids, doesn't want kids, but loves my kid.

Plus she looks half my age and she's active/healthy as all get out. And she wants to wheel/camp.
