Need some opinions on a new vehicle.. Don't want to get rid of it but not totally sure what to do. Here's kinda what I'm thinking..

    A) keep it buy another tacoma
    B) keep it buy a wrx
    C) sell/part it out buy another taco and mod the new one.

    What would you guys do?

I like that idea however I won't get any insurance money. It was already totaled by hail last year. I'm torn right now lol..

That's kinda what I've been thinking for a while.. keep it and get a wrx like I've been wanting forever. My dad keeps telling me to get another tacoma and keep this one or sell it but idk if I want another taco just to be a DD.

I'd just get a boring cheapo car. Don't buy another money pit like a wrx

Yeah absolutely. Just not so pretty anymore.

Money pits ftw. Boring and cheapo sounds boring and cheapo. I don't see myself getting too crazy with mods on a wrx. Just be a fun dd :D

I say just save the cash and keep driving the truck. When you are ready for it to be a real trail rig then you can retire it to the garage. No reason not to drive it around.

Well just for the sake of having something with good insurance so something like this wouldn't have happened. I originally wanted to get another vehicle after the hail for that exact reason. Worst case scenario as well since that fucker had no insurance so I'm kinda taking the brunt of it. Plus I think a taco deserves better than just being driven I and from work to sit out in the sun for 10 hours.

At least its being driven :notsure:. If you had some major plans for it then I could see retiring it to trails. How much bad luck can you have with one vehicle? haha.

Hopefully not much more lol this poor taco has been through the ringer

For sure, if the new vehicle thing happens it won't be for a little while yet.

Still waiting to hear from the officer again. He called me yesterday morning and asked if i could stop by the PD and identify a couple pictures and point out the one that hit me but my boss wouldn't stop there for me....we "had people waiting on us" even though we picked our asses for nearly 2 hours when we got there....and i got an estimate done yesterday and dropped it off at the PD. Turned out to be about $5200.

Wanna buy my dads evo Josh :p

Fully caged, dry sump ARP system, 3 way jrc dampers, frozen rotors 14" fronts, hoosier sticky tires, forced perf black turbo with supporting mods @ 35psi in current tubing config producing 550 AWD HP and 540 AWD TQ. Motor is stroked to 2.3Litre. Basically the baddest build evo you could want for the road. Could be reconfigured for rally but is dialed for track :D also full data aquisition system :goingcrazy:
