Flashlights will follow up in a different shipment, tracking numbers lied to me
and they didn't show up yet, so look for them to come in a small flat rate box
when they come in.

Question for all you guys who use light bars and such. What do you use for switches and where do you put them? I see I have a couple empty areas near my AUX input below the A/C. Is that the easiest place? I'm very new to this whole electrical thing, but I love me some lights, so I'll be popping my cherry on this project.

 

most guys go with OTTRA switches,
remember guys if your using my harness, white is power in, blue is power out and black is ground, DO NOT WIRE WHITE and BLUE together or you will melt the harness!!

 

As Chris said, I actually went with an OTRATTW SPST rocker switch. These switches are V1D1. You can find wiring diagrams on the OTRATTW. website:http://www.otrattw.net/wiring-diagrams.html
As for popping the blanks out, super easy to do. I used a pick (similar to what dentists use) to pop the two blanks out next to my fog lamp switch (top set, left of steering wheel).
As far as wiring dimmer control and powering the led in the switches I am still trying to find info on that. Wiring diagrams are hard to find without spending money to purchase one.

Already got mine, now to find some good mounts to mint it. There is a bit of a gap on the trim on one side though... I hope it doesn't cause moisture to form on the inside.

 

Mine should be here tomorrow the 27th.

 

Where are you mounting and what switch did you go with?

 

Did you guys get tracking numbers??
