Yups that was me the one wearing the hat looking at your truck. Ahha Nice, that was the problem on your truck? How is your alignment on your truck? All green numbers? Im at 1.75 lift right now. Planning on going with 885s but the problem with the uca is stoping me.

what problem with the UCA's? I have 5100's @0 and 885's with the stock UCA's. You should still be able to get it back to spec for recon if that's what you're looking for. Yeah my truck is pulling to the right and it's possibly cause of the balancing.

The problem of having to get aftermarket uca's, some people need them, some dont.

there's no reason I can do it and you can't. the reason you get after market uca's is to get the alignment back into spec. and, I've just got it back from IB&A and it's within spec. Just go for it!

    Thanks guys!

Gonna have to find a rock to try the sliders out on :spy:

Everything as far as front suspension for a Titan will fit a Frontier. So for me to get a mid travel kit all I need is stock Titan UCA/LCA and tie rod ends. For long travel I just gotta buy Titan mid travel stuff. And for crazy long travel, I need Titan long travel  Dirtking does make stock size Frontier, and mid travel Frontier UCA/LCA. Something like $2200 for the set though!

I got the OEM Titan UCA's for $130 shipped with 17k miles on them. I had found lowers for $50 plus shipping a few years ago, so hopefully I can find some more! If not, Rockauto has MOGG's shipped to Hawaii for $200 for the pair. And I'm trying to get some used tie rod extensions for $50 shipped. So far I'm within my $400 budget :p Gonna be about 6" wider overall (3" per side), but I'm going to lose 1.5" per side by ditching my lift spindles. Overall lift should be about the same, but travel will increase by ~44%, and only 3" wider than I am now!

Wow that's crazy you get that much travel from stock components . Good researching !

Well, Frontier travel sucks anyway.. I think it's at least an inch orore less than a Tacoma :)

About 8" stock, Titan will give be 12-12.5ish. Then later when I can afford it I will get tubular Titan UCA's for another 2.5" of down travel. So that will eventually give me a total of ~15" of tracks with the right shocks.

hehe...I'm thinking my springs are finally settling...I can go over speed bumps and it doesn't bump as hard as it used to.

my soft top only leaks a tiny bit when it rains hard, the foam tape is old and i'm in the process of getting another 2 c-clamps to better secure it down

Hey guys, I installed my extended brake lines today. Went good except the rear left side line slides through the mount hole. The clip is in but the actual brake line metal piece doesnt catch the mount and slides through the hole. Also the same line was leaking at the fitting on the bottom so I flipped it and it doesnt appear to be leaking anymore. Is it anything to be worried about?
