it rained hard and delayed the race over an hour and then was a light rain for most of the race. By the last 10 laps, the sun had come out and somewhat dried part of the track so some drivers pitted and took slicks while others kept rain tires on before the G-W-C because it was still a little wet so different lines were taken during the race at the end. Made it hard to brake hard in the corners without sliding the nose up off the track with slicks on. Most of the drivers staying on the track had rain tires on.

I thought NASCAR didn't run in the rain ? or is it different for the road courses

Only in the nationwide series they have treaded rain tires, the issue is on dry track they can get really really hot and bubble up, so some took that chance in the end and it paid off. The sprint cup series will never race in rain due to it being better for fans plus tickets more expensive so they want to see a dry race and it's more cost effective to delay the race than run in rain.

Only in nationwide and only on road courses will they run in rain. They have a special tire from goodyear they put on for those circumstances. NASCAR can't run rain on ovals no matter the series due to hydro planing in the banking and decreased visibility

I think jr sold his soul to the devil to get a top 3 when he's never recorded a top 10 at a road course.

Congrats to Carl. Still a HUGE disappointment in TNTs coverage. I think they need to not renew that contract next year. Some of the WORST camera operations, and HORRIBLE announcing. Kyle Petty needs to find a new job.

I was glad to see Danica get a good top 20, finishing 18th, today. Keep going girl!

I know he has struggled on road courses for sure. He is really maturing and improving his driving skill. I think he has an honest good shot at a championship this year!

Hendrick dominates the 2014 season, all top 7 this race. That horsepower is the real deal. Championship will be won by Johnson, harvick, jr, or keselowski. That'll be my top 4 for homestead.

I think Happy is the only one with a real shot at stewart-haas although tony is overdue to get hot. I hate to say it but the 48 is again the team to beat and the favorite. I don't know how they do it week in and week out.

SPARTA, Ky. -- Kyle Busch made it 5 for 5 this season in the Camping World Truck Series, holding off Kyle Busch Motorsports teammate Darrell Wallace Jr. on Thursday night at Kentucky Speedway.
Busch has six straight series victories dating to last season and 40 overall in 120 starts. The Sprint Cup driver led the final 55 laps in the 150-lap race. He also won at the 1.5-mile track in 2011.

Most people don't like Kyle but just like I don't like Johnson you have to admit he is good. He might even be better than Johnson he just hasn't hooked up with the right crew chief yet.

The difference between Johnson and K Busch is that Johnson is not a self centered prick. :p

While I do say I don't like Kyle, I have admitted that he is a talented driver. If he could get his holier-than-tho attitude in check he could be a real champion. Even his team owner is getting tired of his language and attitude.

I remember when he won a race it might have been a busch race but he won a handmade guitar and he busts the thing up like a drunken rock star. I really felt bad for the guy who made it. I saw his mobile home on the discovey channel the other night worth more than I'll make in my lifetime. He's got a trophy wife who showed the thing off. How is your daughter doing?
