I can't go, but remember to air down lower then you think. Also if you go down any of the steep hills (million dollar hill) throw it in 4wd low and 1st gear and don't hit the brakes. It can pitch you sideways and you will roll all the way down.

To get up it you have to go around the back and drive on the edge of the of the volcano. Not too hard plenty wide to be up there safely. Also don't go into the cones. It is super hard to get out because its hard to get enough speed to get up the walls. We spent like 45 min trying to get another FJ out before he finally made it. Have fun. Its always a good time. I'm sure it will be busy so you could probably follow someone around there.

Its the only time I've been wheeling where I was hanging from my seat belt. we though the guy that went down before us was going to roll it half way down. He was really old and always had to have the leader keep an eye on him. RIP COPDOC :(

Can't make it out this weekend but I literally live about 2 miles from here. Could provide a place to crash for a few people with plenty of parking at my place. Good fun. Let me know if anyone wants to setup up a weekend to go play again. New to forum and would like to meet some members.

The Cinders is awesome. You can break but only feather to maintain speed not allowing any locking. I had to a few times going down because I was catching up to the truck in front of me. It looks intimidating as hell, and if you don't respect it, it will kill you... but it's also not really all that bad either. The cinders is a wondrous near off-planet exploration like wonder really.

Should be fine! I didn't even get near close to stuck but that's 4wheel, so some speed should be fine!

And I had to slow down actually, buddy of mine has mid travel and was flying 40+

It's mostly timing, wait till mid snow season when there's some on the ground, then when forecast says a storms coming, plan to go 4wheeling that day!

    But we got lucky haha
