Hey guys. I went on a last minute trip last weekend, and figured I'd bump some life into this thread.

I met up with a buddy from T4R.org for some wheeling, fishing, and camping. He was kind enough to show me around his neck of the woods and put me on some good fish.

We started off Saturday morning at Chokecherry, and within 2 hours we'd hit a bunch of obstacles. The place is pretty awesome, and although I only saw a fraction of it, there were several obstacles in that small portion that I was not ready to attempt. You can go as big as you want at this place... up to and including demolishing your rig.

10 minutes in, we found a flexy spot and got a chance to check various clearances on our rigs.

Time to stuff the other side...

    29_zpsf51f1e12_af18ec0befa2fb625bf2ca166bd7c53491bac17f.jpg

I'm pretty happy with my setup. Everything tucks up nice and clean. I have some minimal rubbing in the front, and the driveshaft contacts the gas tank skid just a little bit at full stuff. Otherwise it's about as good as it gets, IMO.

Moving on... we went down stuff.

    And we went up stuff.

    Got this climb on video...

TBuzz started having some steering issues, so we decided to wrap it up before something broke out there.

We got some eats at Zia Taqueria and checked out some fishing spots on the Animas before stopping at TBuzz's house to grab some gear. Then we were off to the high country.

Saw some "mountain maggots" along the way.

    Found a good campsite...

    2_zpsf47332c7_88a3f1971761082eb49e520b01843498116693c7.jpg

We made our way up to a body of water, and found a few of these waiting for us...

I caught a nice one, and broke off a few more before we went back to camp. In the morning, we got some more slime on our hands.

TBuzz took some short video clips of my rig on some obstacles at Chokecherry. If you click the link below it will play through them in series.

PS... turn up the volume so you can hear that exhaust note!

No, it definitely has not. I'm glad you enjoyed the report.

Thanks, man. Yeah, we fished a couple different spots, none of which are/were pictured.

In Colorado. That's all I can say.

See above. All you have to do is pull out a map, fill up the tank, and go exploring.

Just ordered a bunch of maps from USGS for Cedro Peak, Sandia Crest, Glorieta and the Jemez Springs area. Got them in 7.5' x 7.5' which will provide lots of detail. If you guys have specific areas you want to explore, let me know and I can order those as well.

If I can find a decent plotter I like and a supplier of the right paper, I can download the maps for free and just print them out.

I am on the site, and DL'ing various area topo maps. You can then zoom in on the areas you like, screen capture and print to normal paper and just make a little book to stash in your truck: capture the areas of interest and just print those :)
