Finally did it. Got rid of the Tacoma last weekend for a Chevy. After three years and over 5 grand later of fixes and kinks I have had enough. Gonna try my luck with the Chevy now. Thanks for every ones advise and help! Just can't find a site quiet as good as TacomaWorld.

Good looking truck. A good friend of mine just bought one a couple weeks ago and loves it so far.

Enjoy the new truck. I'm in limbo with my truck right now and if it ends up totaled, I'm looking hard at the 2014 Chevy/GMC.

Sorry to see you go. You must have bought a lemon? All three of my Toyotas (two Tacos, one 4-Runner) have been awesome! I've had a Chevy truck too and they're good trucks too but maintenance costs are a little her than Tacos. Have fun. Keep on truckin'!

I went the Chevy route because 2 of my buddies with new Rams are having issues and the five that have 2010 - 2014 chevys love em. Only thing that concerns me is the stupid EcoBoost....Never been a fan and prob never will be

Sounds like my Tacoma. I definitely had a lemon. Wish I had my 01 Tacoma back. Loved that little 5 speed.

Heh. I hope you have better luck than me, I don't bash other brands really. I know chevy's are reliable and tacos are as well. Like you said, luck of the draw.

    Good Luck.

I came from a Chevy to a Tacoma. Love the Tacoma, but miss a lot of things about the Chevy. I lucked out with a well-built truck, with lots of power. Always felt solid, though there were a few issues over time.

The Taco is more size appropriate, love having a stick shift again, but it definitely feels clunkier over small bumps and what not. Plus way less power and not much of a MPG gain. No regrets though.

The Chevy was a truck that was quick off the line. The Tacoma is slower off the line, but way more fun to drive.
