Shifter thread size?

Searched. Nothing.

 

The threads on the auto shifter are 8mm X 1.25 on the 2008

its 12mm x 1.25

 

8mm x 1.25 for automatics, 12mm x 1.25 for manuals.

Actually, the manual transmission thread size is 12mm x 1.50

 

Unless it's changed, the manual is still 12mm x 1.25.........

my apologies. I did read in several charts that the manual transmission was 12mm x 1.50....Maybe that was for older tacos? I'm still trying to get 100% confirmation on the threading being 8 x 1.25 so I can put a ball style knob on my automatic 2014 taco.
