That's why I recommended taking them to a local tire shop and ask them to if they can assemble them with their wall mount compressor. I had to do that to have them set at .85

I was goign to put new billys on tonight using the lca method on.85 with the oem shocks. is it the upgraded springs that makes it tough or the .85 lift?

Yes if you are going to put new billies at .85 with new coils yes better get somebody to compress them for you and then put them on

The upgraded coils are so beefy compared to stock that it's hard to compress them without at compressor. I haven't done the LCA method though.

It's not bad but with a friend or 2 to help, it's pretty simple and straight forward. Just time consuming. The way I saw it was I could pay a shop to install it or I could do it myself and use that money for another upgrade.

Well, I went ahead and attempted the shock swap last night since I was doing the front brakes (rotors and pads) anyways. It went super easy using the LCA on a jack to release the tension then reapply the pressure once it was swapped. I went ahead and raised it the .85 in the front and it leaned back pretty good until i put the rears on. Then it leveled out perfectly with a slight lift all around I also added a Hellwig 979 kit since I do not have the TSB springs. I tow a new 4000lb boat ashort distance every weekend and the sag was getting to me. I will report back after this weekend if it helped or not. It is an 08' with 170k miles so I figured it was time.

Thanks to everyone on this forum. All the little bits of info have helped me save huge over the years!!!!!

I just installed this same exact kit. Used the LCA method with a floor jack for the front billies with eibach coils set at .85 and it worked like a charm. Pretty easy install. Took me and a buddy about 4.5 hours and a few beers to complete. It looks and rides awesome.

For everyone that just installed a lift: Be sure to look over and check over everything after a few days of driving. Make sure nothing came lose or needs to be retorqued.

Well, that price includes the alignment so I figured it was easier, plus I don't have all the tools needed.

Right on. That's not a bad price for install with alignment.

That seems like a decent price. I got mine installed for $287 including a terrible allignment (on their part).

The place I am taking it is well known for quality work. However, this is the first time I have used them.
