I can get these in yellow, white or amber for the parking lights. Thinking of the white == 0 amber in my lights

 

I don't have any amber lens in mine.

The amber color comes from the bulbs, as you can see the lenses have been tinted to get rod of the yellowish look.

 

I have those in my rear blinkers to get rid of the yellow on top. They work great!


Looks good Jason! You can also use an LED bulb and it will be clear until flashing amber. On mine (2013) I'm using white parking lights in the upper corners of the assemblies and the (switchback) white/amber dtrl's/blinkers. Got them from csjumper2003 here on TW. I think the blinkers are supposed to be amber when flashing by law.

Yes on the amber blinkers, the parking light im going to do in white. Just keep the oem,s in case of a fix it ticket . I just away to do away with the amber as it kills the bhlm to me

 

I also wanted the lenses back in because i was putting my strobes back into the turn signal area. When they were there before without the lens, the strobes were way to bright for the guys ahead of me on the trails. Now they are plenty visible without being over bearing.

 

Why do you need strobes on the trails?

Gotten remember, Florida trails are dusty when there's a long group of trucks running down them. I came across the opportunity to get free strobes and jumped on it. Makes so if we are running thru a dusty area, the trucks behind me can see where i am and less chance for them not realizing i have stopped.

Free and that use makes sense. NC gets pretty dusty when transitioning on the forest roads but I just cut on all the lights.

State kinda grows on ya..

 

I pretty much only use them for that or emergencies. We witnessed an accident on I4 when we got on right at lake Mary Blvd. They were right in the middle, nothing major, but enough to impede traffic. I got behind them and threw on the strobes to try to let people know something was going on and to move over.

Ok so wes brought this one up to me the other day and i just though of it and started looking into it, Is the 8.4" diff on the 95.5-04 tacomas interchangeable with the 8.4" on the 05+ tacos?

I was looking on ECGS and noticed that there is no assembled 3rd that specifically says it is for an 8.4" 05+, it just has the 8" elocked option.

If this is true i would like get the help of everyone here and talk wes into swapping in a rear 60 next weekend so i can buy his diff.

and then i just saw this on ECGS too, notice under the applications it says 95.5-present tacomas and there is only one option for assembled diffs.
