I'm bummed too. I don't like this adult stuff. I will have something else though, might not be a taco, but it will be a Toyota.

For sure, and completely understandable. Shit the only reason I have a Tacoma is because I owned a 500hp STi, and when my wife became pregnant, she made me sell it and "buy something safer for the baby."

Thinking about getting this to replace the taco. Little more capable, but probably a lot less comfortable. I dont think I will care if I put a dent in it though. The guy said he's building a buggy and is motivated to get rid of this to make some room. We'll see if he still has it in a few weeks when I will be able to go look at it.

Just read the last couple pages. You're doing the right thing(coming from a 20 year old who's dropped over 6K into his own rig). Taking care of your wife and future little one is now the new priority, You can always buy a new taco and mod it out.

If you wanna get rid of those LF's.. :anonymous: i'd take em.

They might, we can take a look if you want. Dustin wants to take a look at them too to see if he can lengthen them and make them work.

Have you checked the Scout in Ogden yet? I'm only about an hour south in Lehi. If you need me to go check something out locally and take pics/video and look for anything specific let me know. If you find something in between Provo and Salt Lake I can go look at any time in the evenings and send info. I'm pretty good about spotting stuff.

I've seen a few really good deals lately on Scouts in the area if you're looking for an International specifically. If you want something bulletproof that will run forever and is easy to work on, then can I suggest an Isuzu Trooper? There are a MILLION of them at all times it seems for sale on the Wasatch Front. Worst case they seem to need a transmission which is an easy weekend job and can be found cheap on eBay because the parts are everywhere. I've checked a few out lately since I'm out of work, and the worst one I found needed new CV boots in the front and a transmission. That was the worst of them. Mostly they are good and they are fun to work on. I bought one when I found out my wife was pregnant with our first child in 2003 because they are like tanks and I wanted them both to be safe. Last I heard it was still going strong and it is well over 175,000 miles now.

By the way.... I'm bored and usually friendly. If you find a deal and want something towed out to you, let me know. You'd just need to rent the dolly or trailer and I'm happy to drive it out to you. It would give me an excuse to get out of the house for a day. Seriously. Don't be afraid to ask if you need something. I know the pickings are much larger out here than where you are.
