Alright guys, I got my first paycheck of the summer and it's not quite enough for a lift :( (but it's still a paycheck :) ).So I don't wanna spend to much of it. Unfortunately I only get paid once a month so I want to buy something to hold me off for the next 30 days. I don't want to spend much more than 200 so shoot me some Ideas :oldglory:

You could can google automotive touch up paint and go to their website. Order some things you need to sand your grill surround and color match it yourself. They sell the paints in our color code in a spray can. That's how I color matched my raptor style grill. You can get the adhesion promotor, sand paper, spray paint, and clear coat for right under $50.

Hmmm good idea. This may sound crazy but I kind of like my chrome surround. Just a hint of chrome is nice sometimes. Not all black but not to much chrome you know what I mean. But I'll look at some pictures and see what I think. Thanks for the idea

I've just never been a fan of chrome. No point in having it on off road vehicles in my opinion when it's just gonna get scratched to shit. Nothing wrong with people liking it, just not my style. You can also hit up csjumper250 and get one of his LED interior light kits and a Flyzeye LED strip to put under your radio face plate to illuminate the console beneath it. Don't have a picture of mine but you can search Flyzeye on here and find it. Get an led and replace the window switch led

Add an ammo can to your bed rails like I did for recovery straps

That's all I can think of for inexpensive mods. All of the above can be done for under $30 or $40

Just get 2 bolts with a head big enough to slide in the rail, some washers, drill 2 holes and mount it.

I got mine done and my 20% cost me $134 out the door for the front two windows. I did find cheaper places around but I knew this lady and she has an extremely good reputation.

Im thinking about tinting my windshield to 35% only because I keep it parked outside year round. I don't really care for the darkness but saves my dashboard from cracking in the future.

 thats how much it'll run you for just the front?! IMO you should try it yourself and if you eff it up (which you probably will if you've never done it before) its cheap to replace if its bad enough. Mine got a small crease on the passenger side window but it doesn't bother me too much. I will be going darker shortly :spy:

Haha yeah I know it was a lot more than I could have spent but she did an amazing job, and it came with a lifetime transferrable warranty that covers literally everything. Air bubbles, discoloration etc... Cheapest place that I could find around here to do it was $100 but that didn't have as good of a warranty

Try and find someone who does tint work on the side. That's what I did and had a guy come to my house and tint the windows. Did them all at 20% for $100.

Thanks so much for the input guys. I will definitely tint my windows at some point but I'm still looking at all the stuff I could do with my paycheck

Not to pull an old mans line here, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to save it. I mean my friend has worked for 3 years and earned about $25,000. He has doubled his money in the 3 years by saving and investing it.
