Hmmm exciting not so much, interesting definitely. I have seen some stuff tonight I definitely don't want to see again lol I'm playing the role of training facilitator tonight so I'm just a ghost, but it is dragggging tonight.

Anything new in the land of fire protection?

 

Not a thing...no pimples...no accidently hit sprinkler heads...no paper cuts. It's a great night. Watching some Dexter.

Lol good to hear, I've been passing the time on here researching my next mod to do to my truck and looking up info on Florida for vacation.

 

Lol I can't even go into detail but let's say it involves the elderly and thongs Lmbo

 

Yeah ... been looking myself. Gray wire mod....I need seat covers....sliders...lift kit....exhaust. ....rims...darker tint....think I am going to need a part time job.

Lol yep I know what you mean I just did the fog light mod and now I'm looking at the satoshi grill, bed lights, and under the hood lights, I could go on and on..

 

Sounds like fun....I will bring you my truck and drop it off with you for a week so you can do the mods to mine LOL. Would love to have lights in the bed and under the hood.

I love working on my truck and doing things to make it unique, the guys at the dealership are always waiting to see what i do next lol

 

Hahaha sounds like fun. I am just concerned about voiding any warranty with the mods. In looking at the sliders you either have to drill additional holes in the frame or weld them on. Then I read about the frame issues and wonder if I mount the sliders they wouldn't stand behind the warranty.

 

I guess that is just a chance you take.

 

Hmmm there was some forums on here talking about warranty issues with mods, so far the ones I have done I'm not worried about with the warranty, probably the best one was putting bilstein 5100 on the corners IMO rides a lot better.

 

Did you buy an extended warranty for your truck?

 

Did yours come with factory bilsteins on it? Just wondering how much difference there is between the factory ones and the 5100's.

 

No mine was not a trd model, from what I have read on here the 5100 offer a better ride than stock.
