I think this should be advertised in a commercial, like they do it in Pakistan:

If they do it with the Tacoma, the last bit may be less dramatic. Hit a steep climb? Rotate the knob another 1/4 turn to 4Lo...

The guy in the duramax must have a micropenis. If the stacks weren't evidence enough, he just got worked by a VW.

And get a Touareg, which has since lost both the diesel V10 and low-range T-case?

Holy shit, crazy clip. I had a GMC 2500 HD Crew Cab before my Tacoma, there are things that I miss but I am really pleased with my Toyota. You can trade that Chevy in.

15-17 mpg highway with a flimsy 1/2 ton frame and suspension, and they only cost $45k or more.

No thanks, I'd rather spend that money on a 2-3 yo Ford or Chevy 1 ton deisel.

Maybe it's just me, but I certainly did not purchase a truck for MPG..especially since I lift them, add bigger tires etc...I wanted MPG I would be in a Honda

True, but you can get more power and towing capacity with 3/4 and 1 tons and still do a lift and tires and get just as good if not better mpg than a Tundra.

If I towed, maybe I would consider it, but it's rare do I ever tow. I've had my share of trucks, and am just a fanboy of Toyota.

You don't hear to much about Tacoma's having problems. Chevy on the other hand.

There are plenty of threads on here about Tacoma problems. It's nothing to be concerned about. All vehicles are bound to have some problems.

Please explain the Chevy problems that you think are so much more numerous than those of Tacomas'. If you were refering to recalls, Toyota has had their fair share.

Not looking to start an internet debate or argument. What you said is very true.

I personally had a Chevy Silverado 2500 crew cab diesel that left me stranded twice. And Chevy never picked up the tab for the room I had to pay for or the extra cost for rental. My Taho had a few electrical problems. All three of my Vettes (90, 96 CE LT4, 02 Z06) were trouble free.

My Tacoma Has 114k and as of yet not an issue.

All I am saying is Tacoma's are known to be a good truck. Retain their resell value which speaks volumes.

The only issues I had with Chevy
    Were:
1500: CEL first day home....delayed throttle response, cheap interior

Camaro: just ran too hot. I wired up an electric fan switch and was g2g after...no other issues....I miss my Camaro

Nice truck. Hope you have the best of luck with it. Just wanted to say I used to drive GM products. Always got good service out of all of them. When it came time in 2012 to buy a new vehicle, it was time for me to buy new(my first). GM that year started with putting on-star in all GM vehicles. I trust car companies like I trust the government and I did not like the fact with on-star that GM could shut down your car at any time they pleased or even track your movements. When I buy a car I want to be the only one who has control of it. This is one of the main reasons I bought a Tacoma. Good luck with the truck.
