Still wouldn't be a bad idea. Neck injuries aren't fun and will nag you for your whole life.

I threw the tray away. I'm going to eventually make a new strap for it, but it can work fine if you get a longer hook bolt thing for the rear. I had to jerry rig it some since I wasn't prepared with a longer hook.

True. I find myself going on much less DH runs on the local ski slopes. It seems that my Leatt is compatible with my DH helmet, although less effective still better than nothing.

Thanks. Only had it a year. Hopefully going to swap axles in the next couple of weeks. And that was for another thread, not to show it off. I don't exactly have the money to go full on rock bouncer yet. I could probably get it there, but I wouldn't have money for repairs. So for now, I'll continue a mild build on my "Cute TJ.";)

Yeah, I could do all of that and be out of money. Or build it when I have the money to and continue to support myself.

Don't have them yet. I'm still looking for them. Hopefully HP D44 up front, ford 8.8 in rear with disc breaks. Both with 4.10 gears and move up to 35's. May have found a D44 that another member just offered me but i haven't gotten any info on it yet.

Unless you get a killer deal, a D44 and Ford 8.8 won't really be ideal for 35's and any sort of real wheeling. I f you are swapping it would be around the same $ to get tons, Just my .02. There have been a few Ford 60's with HD 70's around here for around $1000 a set. Just to throw it out there.

I do some pretty good wheeling as is. You'd be surprised what my jeep can do with a locked D30 and open D35. Im not sure I'm ready to do tons on my jeep yet haha. I'm just running 2.5' suspension lift and 1.25' body lift. I think tons are a little extreme for 35's. My buddies run 8.8's on 35's with no problem. I'm trying to get decent ground clearance but retain a low center of gravity.

I'm not , I've been there. Exploded many a D30 and D35 in my time. Not to mention D60's and a D70U. The Jeep sits at 23" aired up belly height and has a fairly low COG with a LT4 on dropped mounts with a SM465 and flipped 300.
