    Hey guys,

So I was looking over some other threads and wanted to get your thoughts about towing a vehicle to Lincoln Nebraska.

I have a 99 regular cab 4x4 2.7l 5spd. I was thinking of using a car hauler from Penske to tow my 2014 370z to Lincoln, Nebraska for the SCCA National SOLO event in September. The drive would be from Denver to Lincoln so somewhat flat roads.

The Z weighs about 3300lbs. W/trailer and other stuff at least over 4k easily maybe close to 5k. Would this be too much for the truck. Thank you for your help.

I would guess that would be a little too much for the truck.

Yea that's what I figured. I'm trying to convince my dad to let me use his 2010 Tundra.

Legally the answer is no. As long as your truck is in good mechanical condition it could. It just isn't worth it and I would not consider it.

    This ^^^

I believe your truck is rated for 3500 lbs, 350 lb tongue weight.
