Went and did some camping this weekend. Our one GSD had never been camping before so we wanted to see how he did. He turned out to be a great camp dog.

I just got a Tepui Kukenam Siberian camo and I'm looking at purchasing the annex but I'm not sure what the pros /cons are of this addition. Anyone have the annex that can help with any info...good or bad?

It's possible, however I'm worried about security.

Gonna be sleeping in the RTT for about 20 days starting tomorrow night. My sister, her kid, and her babies daddy's son is coming to visit and my parents just don't have enough room.

Best part is they all feel bad that I'll be sleeping in a tent haha. And I am over here pretty stoked I have a reason to crack it open every night.

Mine has been on my runner since I bought it a few years ago. I use to live down town Denver and no one ever messed with it. But my racks are lockable.

I took a leftover 2x6 and some casters and made a little cart for mine. I store it standing up, and now I can roll it around if I need to.

Has anyone had any luck getting a hold of bobby from cvt? I've tried calling there shop the last 2 days and all I get is a voicemail??? Is there a different number to call or what's up? It's becoming really frustrating I just need a zipper and straps for my cover, also if anyone knows if the zippers for the tepui tent covers are the same as the cvt ones I'll just order one from them, way better customer service at least they answer there phone, sorry for the vent just alittle frustrated :)

Just a side note, to be clear that I'm not bashing cvt I really love my tent and when I did get a hold of them they were really helpful, I was just wondering if anyone knew a better way of communication with them.

As long as its a similar model tent you'll be fine with tepui. You can actually just order one off their website. No need to call. I am sure BoxRocket or Jerry @ bamf can get you hooked up by the end of the day with just a pm. Tyler at pelfrey also is a vendor now so you can give him a shout too.

Bobby has a full time job that is in the busy season right now. Cvt is a side project that he works on but for the most part it's just him running it in his spare time. Leave a voicemail and he will return it. Just can't expect him to answer the phone and ship something out the next day.

Just looked at that zipper too. Do you just sew the one side to the cover and the other slides into the lip around the base?

i think you could do that but my cover alreaddy has a zipper on it so I'd just use the part that goes into the lip on the tent
