As little as possible. Saw one for the 1st gen go for 1600-1800 the other day. Had the up graded pully, ecu, injectors etc.

There was a local Craigslist guy selling his tacoma that was TRD supercharged. Been for sale for months. I was talking back and forth via email. We agreed on a 1k and we were going to swap stock parts off mine onto his and vice versa for the charger. He set a time and place. Then dissapeared.

I always price it at the dealerships just to check. Tysons told me ~4 for the charger and another ~1k for the fit kit.

I don't have anywhere near 5k to drop on that all at once.

I like URD because I can piece the whole kit together. Paying off pieces a little at a time. Vs toyota, Wanting That ALL At once.

 

yeah that makes sense. its about 5400 for the charger and kit regular price. its somewhat cheaper at my cost but still a lot lol

 

Another dealership wanted 6800 not installed. ... a prompt and stern no.

 

I picked up the blower and fit kit from a dealership on eBay, new for $3500 with free shipping. Springfield Toyota installed it for $800. $4300 all set and done. I thought that was pretty good for new and keeping ALL warranties

 

Just turbo it way better

Are you officially in the area now? There are a decent amount of lifted yotas in Arlington. I've seen a handful of older 4runners and land cruisers around Clarendon and a few tacos near ballston. Saw two lifted tacos in Georgetown the other day too.

Hopefully I'll be moving out of Maryland and into Arlington/Alexandria/falls church area around the beginning of next year.

$200 cheaper than the deluxe bull bar. I put that money into some fogs. I do like the look of the deluxe bars though.

 

Truck is coming along. I'm actually swapping a Chevy 4l80e and 241 manual shift transfer case. Already have it fitted up and wiring done driveshafts made so pulled it out and getting built then back 2gether and on the dyno

Decided to build one after seeing mine? . Manage to get everything crimped and put together? I made a mod to mine and underneath added a negative bus. Instead of finding spots to grounds to the frame all over. Sometime I'll do a write up with some pics.

 

Ugh! Serpentine belt bit the dust on the way to work this AM! Took out a coolant hose and pulled out the sensor wire on the PS Pump - not sure if anything else got f'ed. This after spending the last couple days installing all my new Total Chaos uppers/lowers/shock towers - and chasing a passenger side clunk I still haven't figured out...probably going to ask you guys to get a wrench on everything in the front end and see of something is loose...

Yes. Yes I did. I got the dual bus so I didn't have to mod it. One positive one negative . As you saw went bigger though
