I'm pretty sure I'm all set to order. My stock 08 dclb sport has a broken rear leaf. I'm looking at wheelers hd 5 leaf pack, ome 883 coils, billy 5100 shocks all around set at 0 for lift. How does this look? I know it will ride a little stiff, but I tow trailers a fair bit and camp. Should I order an extended rear brake line? I'm hoping to avoid driveline and diff vibes.

You will have rake with that setup.

The rear 5100 have an extended length of just under 24" (23.xxx?") so you will not need extended brake lines.

You'll probably be ass high with that set-up. Why 883 coils?

I'm a little leary of the front growling noise I might get if I go too high in the front. 884's would give me 2" from what I've read. If I go 884's do you think I'd be ok with the 5100's? Is there a better rear shock that would give me more travel. Looking for good for your bang components.

From what I've read, the 883's will yield 1.5" of lift, and the 884's 2-2.25" of lift. My truck has the 4 stock leaf pack and there is rake. I don't mind some, but I don't want it to look stupid also. So with 2" lift in the rear and say 2" in the front from the 884's, will I be level, or will I still have a slight rake? I appreciate the help guys

you will still have some rake. id say comparable to the rake of our trucks stock.....likely slightly more.

It'll look more level while towing at least!

Well I went ahead and ordered wheelers hd 5 leaf pack, billy 5100's front and rear, ome 884's, and ome carrier bearing drop kit just in case. I had a fellow member answer a pm about the wheelers hd pack. He ended up taking them off due to an unsolvable vibration. I'm thinking I'll try all 5 leafs, and if it's too stiff or I get vibes, I'll remove a leaf for 1.5" of rear lift. Thanks for the help guys
