OK, I was at a dealership weighing the pro's and cons between a blue TRD Sport DCLB (the only one available in the 5-state area) and a red TForce edition (also pretty hard to find), when the blue TRD Sport sold to someone else. The next ones like it were 4 weeks away, so I went for the TForce. I know it kinda looks like Marty McFly's ride, but I like it.

I am new at this posting pictures thing, so hopefully this works...

I had one regret buying an Offroad over the Sport and it was that the Offroad came in a shorter bed. However, I have only needed that longer bed once and I had a solution in place since I had purchased a hitch mounted cargo carrier for when I drove a Pathfinder. I may also look into getting one of those bed extenders that attach to your hitch. Both of those options do of course use up your hitch but I can carry everything I need.

    Man nice ride !!

Funny when I was looking for my truck they too could not find a blue one in the 5 state area. I wanted a TRD Sport, Access Cab and Blue.
So guess what, I waited 5 weeks. It came from Texas via Jacksonville Port and had 2 miles. Worth the wait for me.

But hey, the truck you got looks sweet. Save your money cause the guys on TW will show you how to spend it and trick it out.

    Keep us posted with pics

Nice looking truck OP. Can you post an option list of what all comes with the T-Force package?

    Yep, Really nice truck. Congrats!

Wasn't trying to hijack your thread with my pics, I didn't realize that you were the OP until I posted. I was too busy checking out your sweet new truck.

    Tforce package looks pretty cool.

I got the sport TRD, mostly road driving, with a little off roading.
The old 2002 had 270K miles, so it was time.
The front lights and skid plate looks pretty cool.

I got the nice hood scoop which I'd thought about getting another package, then seeing if I could switch the hood out, but that was a PIT in the toe.
Tacomas today are as big as the 2002 tundras were.

    TRD packages are nice.
