Sigh, woke up 5 minutes after my shift started. It's gonna be one of those weeks. Luckily the boss is out today too, but I'm sure I'll get written up for it when he wakes up...

Ah well, how's it all going?

 

Laid down about 10:30PM ... Woke at 12:30AM ... Alarm set for 2:45AM in preparation for getting everything loaded and everyone (10 people) in the vehicles for 4AM departure to the airport. This is why we usually start out our long road trips at night, I'm always a little anxious and don't settle down until we get going and down the road a ways. Makes me realize how lucky I am to have an understanding wife ... I've always done this and she'd just bring a pillow and blanket along and sleep through the first night on the road. She's been putting up with me for 30 yrs October 2nd this year.

 

Hope everything worked out on time for ya. In my family we would have to start 2 days prior to be ready and still 2 hours after departure someone will say well did you pack so and so. And of course we didn't and have to end up buying what ever it is when we get to where we are going. Awesome pictures by the way!

 

Thanks man ... It did. Just got back home and received text from BIL that they are boarding now. In-law invasion 2014 complete and I survived. i think we all actually enjoyed the visit despite the logistical challenges of keeping so many people (15 total at the high point) organized and moved around to the various activities. The house seems so strangely quiet now.

Cool....my wife is an RN, surg recovery floor. Takes a special person to deal with what nurses see every day, I couldn't do it.

I'm a plant supervisor...and on the night shift this week. When things run well it is very boring.

 

its defiantly not fun when the night is dragging by. my night is going pretty fast.

 

Funny thing is, no matter if it went well & dragged by.....or went horrible & flys by.......I'm just as tired by morning. Wasn't that bad in my 20's but 40's....

 

lol thanks chris we definately do get to see alot of different scenarios in our field.

i know and tonight i guess things are running smoothly for us lol but it could be worse i could be complaining about the craziness it usually is

 

i know right i dare say we are getting old lol

hey have any of y'all did the satoshi grill mod yet? i ordered the mesh and the raptor letters last night so just waiting on them to arrive, was just wondering how hard the install is and how approximately long it will take..
