"should have" being the key phrase.

Might be worth the time to check the invoice to see what parts you were charged for.

I don't remember mine being that loose when I did the rear 3rd but, then again, I wasn't inspecting the wheel bearings too closely.

well either way they are going back tomorrow, the pass side is really rough when spun which was prob where the noise was coming from, and on the drivers side they bent the hub a little bit and you have to beat the drum on and off. i was gonna let the hub thing slide but now since they fucked up one axle i might as well have them fix both of there fuck ups now

Yes indeed they are light racing. Sucks that it broke, at least Im still alive driving 2 1/2 hrs back home. I sent them an email but will called them tomorrow to see if they will still warranty this. Does anyone know about their warranty policy? I couldn't find it anywhere on their website for the life of me.

Its hard to interpret exactly what you are saying, but the bearing sliding side to side in the hub bore is normal. The lip on the end of the axle housing pushes it against the hub bore when installed and prevents the bearing from moving side to side.

Dude.. what a relief that you are alive!

The fact that this is the 2nd LR failure I've seen on the boards is very concerning. One break, sure.. a defect. But two is scary. I hope they get their act together and figure out why and recall and affected parts.

When the bearing slides normally like you say its supposed to and the bearing is slid so it is recessed into the packing plate and I spin the axle I can feel and hear the roughness in the bearing.

I replaced one of my wheel bearings once. Ended up building a press tool in order to press the bearing out of the backing plate and off the axle. There is also a collar that is a press fit that goes behind the bearing to keep it from moving. I just know when the bearing finally let go in the press and moved it made a bang.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
LR UCA's had some issues with their weld which has since been fixed. Call them up and see if they can give you a new pair.

It was pretty common for the older LR UCA's but they have since fixed the issue.

I think I finally solved my cruise control $70 later, after I already spent $180 on the module I guess I didn't need. It's the switch. The button that sets the cruise doesn't work anymore. After I got the relay needed for led tail lights wired in correctly, then the diagnostic light was able to tell me that the switch was bad. New switch will be here tomorrow to hopefully fix it before I leave for 16 hours of driving. *knockonwood*
