    Go with a swing-out tire carrier/rear bumper. Had I not gone this route, that's what I would've gone with (I'd still have the option to add a bedrack + RTT). I just wanted something different...

    Try putting on my ATO 1/4'' 70# IFS skid...then 50# mid skid...then 30# T-case skid by yourself...oof!

    Yep, 150# worth of skids on my own. Certainly wore out the arms and neck having to reach around to find a bolt by my side, then at least get a bolt in a corner so some of the weight was off my chest. :)

    Going to have to go through it again this spring when I re-paint all the skids :frusty:

    Not much else to do it seems without getting too crazy, SAS and whatnot. One question if I may, are the additional braces necessary because of the hi lift, or purely aesthetic?

    I considered SAS and L/T, but rather get an 80-series LC for that kind of $$$.

    The side braces are mostly cosmetic. Not a big fan of plain single hoops and I figured they can only help with structural integrity.

    i was wondering how did you mount your bucket seats? did it come with hardware and brackets or did you have to get new stuff? I've been wanting bucket seats for my 03 i just didn't know what to get or how you'd remount them

    Really like the build, gotta love a 1st gen!
    I do have a question regarding the HiLux console section, as I am looking at something like that, as well as a switch plate to go in the void beneath the stereo. Did you have to source that off shore? What search parameters did you use?
