They are CHEAP, anyone have experience with them?

 

With those prices I gotta wonder if they're a Hesse/Blackthorn rehash. Anyone know anything about them?

Has anyone tried the magpul afg? I picked one up and installed it today but haven't actually tried it yet. It fells kinda funny to me but I won't judge it until I give it a go.

 

I have one and have swapped it around to different rifles but I always find myself naturally going back to the magwell with my off hand. I guess if you train long enough and get to actually use it, it's great for getting your arm far down the rifle for greater mobility, but Im super lazy and my arm gets tired being that far forward for an extended period of time and I revert back to the magwell. I still like it a lot though.

They make a sweet .22 scope. Idk how well a $20 optic will hold up with 5.56 or larger though, worth a shot I guess.

 

I like mine so far. Taken it out on my AR twice now.

 

For $20 what do you have to lose? If anything it can be a cheap fall back optic.

 

Might not be bad for a range toy or possibly a truck gun.

I've wanted a 7.5" upper with the Wheaton Arms Comp I have in the parts bin for a super obnoxious firebreathing range toy.

You know, for those moments when you REALLY want the guy on the line next to you to go away.

Anyone know of a good 30 MOA riser for a flat top AR? I built I nice large frame AR but my rings are too short on the scope I bought (used, but both the scope and rings are vortex). I'd rather not get new rings.

I'm wanting to take it out to 1000 yards, and a 30 MOA riser would help and let me

I've googled "most obnoxious muzzle brake". The way I see it go super loud or get a suppressor

 

I have an SJC Titan on my competition rifle. It's known for being pretty obnoxious, and it is.

When I was shooting 3-Gun every weekend I got the unfortunate opportunity to stand next to most of the brakes on the market with a timer in hand. They're all bad. The SJC, Rolling Thunder, Wheaton Arms and Surefire seemed to be the worst (and other than the Wheaton, most common) with some other noname brakes being pretty obnoxious as well. Unfortunately it seems that the worse the noise and concussion are, the better they perform, with a few exceptions.


They will all make the casual bystander say "WTF WAS THAT".

 

I've got this one on a .308 Large frame ar, it's not near as bad/loud as I was expecting. I've got a comp/flash hider on my 556 gun that is worse in my opinion....this one is really effective though from a recoil reduction stand point

Yes, I have one for my Rock River and one for my 15-22. I love them. It feels natural to me.

 

Ever tried a stubby grip and holding it kinda like the afg?

 

LMT has done really well in the field of piston from what I understand... Someone correct me if I am wrong... They where gas originally right ???
