    Great writeup Chris, however I would like to add one important torque spec!
    The torque for the bolt on the coil bolt is only 7.4, I believe, which isn't very much;
    I overtorqued mine or misthreaded it & the bolt broke off; now I'm stuggling with bolt extractors to try & get it out; now the extractor broke off; UGH! The bolt is only 1/4 in diam. Try & drill a hole in the center of that!! Oh, its the middle one on the drivers side. Any tips? Tks,

    Lol no. You need a 12mm, 10mm, Spark Plug socket, long extension, and a magnet on a stick and 20 minutes.

    Drill it out to a bigger size and heli coil it.

    The 1/4 ratchet makes removing the brackets on the drivers side and all the coils easier. Mainly on the drivers side, because you're working around so much other stuff and there's not a ton of space for a larger ratchet. If you don't have one though, you could probably make the 3/8 work.

    To add, it makes it less likely that a bolt will be over torqued, as the 1/4" ratchet is smaller.

    If you can't get a 3/8 ratchet in the large space they give you to remove the bracket on the driver side you probably shouldn't be working on you vehicle.

    I see your point....although I never said I couldn't...just that it's easier with the smaller ratchet. If I have an option to safely make a wrenching job easier, I personally prefer to go with that method. But that might just be me.

    Doing correct accurate work isn't always about fitting the largest tool available into a given space.....in fact if thats your tendancy you're probably more likely to break stuff.

    Well this was interesting.

    I went to CAP for plugs yesterday. They wanted $11 per plug plus tax.

    Went to Amazon, and go the same DENSO plugs for $5.97 each.

    Even with the shipping and handling the plugs are still cheaper at Amazon.com and they're genuine Toyota plugs.
