I've driven 8 hours before...traveled more than you think

have you done 12hrs in heavy rain and grid lock traffic and only making 2 stopes for gas and food with both being less than 30 min stops.

Your dad had a bike? Lucky bastard. Mine had to walk, barefoot, while carrying firewood.

 

Oh man every time we had a snowday in school...

"We used to have to get up and 5 am and clear the drifts for the bus to get through, then get on it and go to school! Bunch of pansies these days!"

Snow sucks

 

Mine was the opposite. He talked about how they used to get so much snow from a storm that they wouldn't have school for two or three days at a time.

He actually wasn't bullshitting about that, though. He was a kid during the 50's & 60's, and Western Maine used to average 10 feet of snowfall a year back then.

 

Yeah my whole family reigns from up in northern South Dakota. They didn't usually call school, just "come if you can". So the farm kids usually couldn't get out and the kids that lived in town could

 

lol I remember living in ND and having blizzards that would cover our 7 ft fence in the back yard

 

Where at in ND? My dad's farm was about 2 miles from the border north of Aberdeen and my mom was a little farther south over right on the river

 

Minot AFB, but where we actually lived was like 7 miles to the border. But there was nothing between our back yard fence and Canada lol

 

May pull the trigger on expos this week if I don't hear back from Doug. Tempted to toss that bumper on the order but I rather get one fabbed here..
