I have tiny hands. Afg+rail is too much girth for me.

I've seen their piston uppers for under 1000 new. I got 2 lmt lowers. Be nice to match one of my lmt lowers with an upper.

Idk much about their piston guns. From what I've seen pws makes a sweet piston rifle. Otha's that its a shit storm bringing up piston rifles in this thread. Kinda like arfcom

There's a reason you don't hear much about them. It's because they're friggin awesome.

    *HOWEVER...*

As awesome as it is, If forced to make a choice, I'm probably going with my standard 14.5" DI M4.

Btw, if you like piston guns, check out the Ruger. It's piggy, but it has a nice feel to it.
The only company that puts out piston uppers that are nearly as light as DI is Adams Arms. I had one of their orignal uppers, and it was good for what it was, but it was a bit hefty as well and definitely had a unique feeling recoil impulse that caused me to eventually sell it. Their newest low-pro system looks great, though. I might pick one up for shits and giggles.

Condor xpc. It's a basic no frill carrier. Got it in a group buy from an armor distributor.

Thanks, man. The Block II makes me warm whenever I take it to the range. It just purrs like nothing else I've shot, and the ECOS is the freaking bomb. I'm actually considering unloading my LaRue Stealth because I don't feel like I have much use for it anymore :(

Yep, I went a similar route and bought a Shellback Banshee. It's very basic and lightweight - not a ton of real estate, but enough for whatever imaginary scenario caused me to buy it in the first place. All I have on it is a triple mag pouch and a hydration carrier. I figure it's just something to get me out of dodge if I ever need to, but I've done a couple of classes with it and it gets the job done fine as long as I have a leg or belt rig to use for those super operator reloads.

That's what I would have thought, but I'm not seeing much.

I'm in the market for a stripped upper, followed shortly after with a barrel and BCG. So far it's all Spikes (well, lower, buffer an buffer tube), and I'd like to keep it that way.

So far the best deal I've found on the upper is the standard price at Primary Arms...
