check out my build for front bumper options. if you dont have a front bumper you have ordered or waiting to weld on, you should take a look, it would get you by for now. :proposetoast:

You should just put some clearbra on them after buffing and then they are good to go without hazing back up.

I had the same issue. Used the sylvania kit I believe. Looked gorgeous after I did it and it came with a UV clear coat/preventer to slow the haze. It's not so much that it's hazy but it's damn near yellow and looks disgusting. I can't wait to retrofit just so I can have new housings.

The more I look the more options I find. I guess I'm figuring out I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for. 3rd Gen 4Runners keep popping up in my mind as well. Even looking at 80 Series Cruisers and a slight possibility of a DiscoII.

    Such a sad, sad world.

Fleet Farm is a magical place where you can go to get a vehicle alignment and while waiting:
-Get quality pants, shorts, shirts, jackets, rain gear, etc
-Get all of your fishing gear to include a boat
-Get everything you need to build a trailer for your new boat
-Get a welder, generator, plasma cutter and any other tool to build a trailer for your new boat
-Get your license, rifle/shotgun/pistol and ammo for your hunting trip
-Get all of your camping gear, trapping gear, hunting gear for your hunting trip
-Get a food processor, dehydrator, grinder, jerky maker for the game you bring home from that hunting trip
-Get a lawn tractor and any other piece of equipment for your yard
-Get everything you need to build another trailer...this time for your new lawn tractor
-Get your dog food, cat food, horse food, cattle feed
-Get tires, tool boxes, vehicle ramps, bed mats, winches, jacks, jack stands, fluids and that gay looking air freshener that actually smells good
-Get candy, snacks, nuts, trail mix and that oddly named soda

And, once everything is bought and your truck is done:
-Get your pavers, potting soil, mulch and those weird flower-looking things that your wife keeps nagging you about in the hopes that she doesn't see everything else you bought while you were getting your truck aligned.

    Heaven?

I just took some sandpaper to mine till I saw all the oxidation gone, then hit it with some clear coat. Look brand new and havent hazed up. Been a year

While doing an oil change this weekend I found out i have the same issue but with the outer boot (if i remember correctly)....I thought there was no clamp so i went and bought some clamps...well, after cleaning up all the grease, i realized the clamp is there.........So I guess I need a new axle???? Or can this be an easy fix? new boot? I'll try to get a pic this weekend

Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
i believe you can buy a new boot and repack the grease and stuff, but ive heard its a really messy tedious job and its easier to just buy a new cv
