I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Every set of sliders that I have shipped with con-way have been strapped to a pallet. I would of gladly shipped another set of skids once the claim was filed on his end I can't take pictures of what he has. He said he would send me pictures and never did.

Um... For the record I never complained.

I snapped the head off the lca carriage bolt skid wheeling trail 13 @ Rausch for the first time on 265's

ColinB17 has a hilarious video of it as well.

It was obvious I had totally no idea wtf I was doing.

Bottom line: the skids did there job and there was (and still is) no damage to my LCA's

Personally I like the fact they cover the cam bolt and stop shit from being able to come up in between and get the cv boot.

Since I got them I've gotten a lot more experience wheeling & I have no intention of removing them other than to maybe throw another coat of paint on them. :D

I'm rebuilding the whole suspension in a few weeks & they'll be repainted then.

I didn't consider that an acceptable response to my question

"I'm not trying to be a dick, but are you sure you sent the LCA skids. Their telling me they weren't on the packing slip, which is consist any with my reciept. And the entire package was only 160 lb, which is consistent with the sliders and packaging. I'm just trying to get this all figured out
    "

    Which followed your statement

"the LCA skids are 28 and the sliders are about 150"

I did almost fail math every year of highschool but 150+28 is 178 and not 160... A pallet weighs about 10 pounds give or take so my guess is that no skids were EVER on that pallet  It's amazing what simple addition figures out huh? ;)

this was my following statement you have it backwards "I can assure you they were on the pallet I strapped it myself". You have it backwards all you had to do if file the claim then we wouldn't be having this conversation and you would of had a new set of skids.

The sliders are not 160lbs the total shipment is 160lbs and it's just an estimate. DCLB sliders are about 115lbs to 120lbs for the set.

I was told to stay out now... But foul play is involved on the shipping weight... 115-120 and 150 lbs are TOTALLY different

So a cheap POS unrated galvanized bolt saved his alignment because it failed. I'm sure the shock from a 6000# truck at speed just disappeared after the bolt broke and did not transfer anywhere else.

You got a excuse for everything and none of them are true.

If you R&D'd those well then I don't know what to tell you except you guys suck. Anyone with eye balls could see that huge ass gap and KNOW the bolts would shear upon any contact with anything. Don't lie to me. You did it that way so you could use shitty tolerances and mass produce them.
Within seconds of picking up Craigs skids I knew immediately what the issue was and I'm no fabricator or mechanic.

I refer back to my opening statement, excuses. I am not going to make a claim that makes me look stupid. I called them, and they told me "the only thing on the packing slip was the sliders, if there was something else, it should have been listed". I then tried to fill out the claim form that wanted an itemized list, with weights. why would I fill out a claim sheet for a 160LB shipment with 150lb sliders and 28 lb LCA skids? How was i supposed to know you gave me an incorrect weight?

My conference call was moved... I sent my guy a pic of your stuff Jason. He said he would bet his paycheck that it was not prepped right. He said many companies cheap out and do not media blast before powdering and thats what he is betting on. He said this causes many problems and the entire piece needs to be media blasted and re-done. He said NOT to top coat it because eventually it will all fail. He said he loves those cheap guys because they make him money when he has to redo their work.

That's all per a pro based off pics. I have no idea if he is right or wrong.

So on another note... I can't wait to start removing rivets from my frame tomorrow.
