I have several video's on my youtube channel from the million dollar highway. Mostly around Silverton, I just got back from a trip a few weeks ago. The channel link is

In the last 3 pictures, that is about a 200ft drop behind the truck. Not cliff but to steep to climb up without ropes.

    You're welcome Doording,
rear view mirror, that's a lot of snow! I plan on going back but I will wait till the end of June instead of the end of May. I could only get ten miles up into Rocky Mt. Nat'l Park because the road was not plowed past that. Also, it got down to 31 degrees while camping in Silverton, CO. Hopefully it will be a little warmer in June.

Noob question here. How do you get that grill? I like the black. Is that an aftermarket or is it just painted and if it's painted is it hard to do?

It's in my build page. I've since changed it to a sport color matched grill.

Cool, thanks. I actually think it looked better before the sport color matched grill but we can agree to disagree. I just bought a black 2014 TRD off road yesterday. Gonna try to black it out as much as possible. It looks like you painted your grill but plasti dipped the emblems. Would plasti dip work on the grill too or is there a reason you painted it?

Looks like a normal bumper to me but I'm sure I'm missing some joke or something.

I painted the entire grill with Matte black Racing Stripe Paint. Matched the lower valance perfectly. I didn't trust plasti dip on the grill. The only thing plasti dipped on the truck is the emblems.

    Yeah yeah....

    He's a dork.

National park hwy like you're headed towards the mt. Rainier park entrance, I forget what the exact street to take but it's a couple miles away from the Elbe hills orv area or 8 mile rd.

We had DefconBrix representing us in Washington for the NW Overland Rally and after seeing some of his pictures from the area we wished we would have gone also!

Did anyone else on here make it over to this event in Plain, WA this past weekend?

Yup and had a blast!! Fun to walk around and see all the rigs - the classes were great and if you follow http://xoverland.com/ the whole gang (and trucks) were there too!!

Third time going and first time camping -- did not have the trailer last year and glad I did. It is worth going for the vendors/classes/fellowship!!
