Yep. I got Napa ones which will eventually be my spares when I re build my OEM ones.

Yeah they weren't OEM, they said they were 4 runners , they were shorter and the shaft was different from what I remember. I posted about it here somewhere.

I may or may not have accidently gravity bleed my entire brake system while I had my rear axles out, so now in the process of bleeding my brakes with a mityvac.

My question is am I always going to be getting foamy bubbles coming out or is it going to smooth out and bleed normally. The only reason I ask is because ive never used a vac bleeder before and dont know what to expect.

Replaced my clutch return spring with the stock toyota brake return spring and holy crap what a difference. I thought I needed a new clutch already but found out it was because the stock torsion spring was only sitting in one pocket on the pedal housing. The other side broke off. It actually feels like a clutch now.

Also I did the rear diff breather, I ran it along the top of the frame into the driver side rear seat compartment. Still need to figure out a simple bracket or something to keep the filter vertical.

Is it crucial for it to be vertical?

That's a good point, probably not, if it is than everyone who has them in the gas filler door is screwed.

Something just tells me It should be, although in reality I'll probably never get to it

Really doesn't matter with them being relocated where they are. Gravity keeps the breather valve closed until internal axle housing pressure overcomes. Since the breather valve has been moved to a very protective spot, it isn't a necessity to keep it closed all the time (when not venting).

In the sticky Diff Breather Mod thread there was one guy in there who was adamant that it had to be vertical.

I never got a straight answer in that thread.

    Thanks for the replies.

I've seen breather hoses end in nothing but a hole (on a DiscoII). Not sure why the guy would be so adamant without a reason. The breather valve just uses gravity to keep closed and it keeps closed (unless getting out pressure) in order to keep debris from getting in the axle.
