Now why is that you cannot get a 6-speed with the LB? What sense does that make - I'm assuming it's just another (longer) driveshaft?

Toyota customer research has found that Long Bed owners don't know how to shift gears manually, and need the assistance of Derp.

The customers that were researched couldn't shift smoothly because their TOB's were annoying them to the point of insanity and decided to quit and just stick with the better trans.

I was pretty set on having a double cab tacoma till I couldn't find a 6 speed TRD off road with a longed in one so I settled for a Access Cab with a long bed and 6 speed.

Yeah I ended up opting for the DCSB with the 6-speed, figuring I could trailer if I needed more space. Just bugs the hell out of me. Love my truck though and won't ever complain about her!

Well.... Since this has turned into a penis measuring contest... I'm happy with my 5ft penis.

the 5 foot penis is a good all around size. The 4 foot 4x4 penis is pretty good in snow, where as the 6 or 8 foot penisrunner is good in mostly dry conditions......

Could not find a DCLB when I bought mine, so got a DCSB, I just take a shovel with me when I get a yard of dirt. Use lots of tie downs for anything else.

i got a short bed. Love it. Smaller departure angle and better maneuverability off roading and on the streets in the SB for sure. stop thinking about it. Its a fact.

Besides....DCLBs are ugly. Flame me, idgaf :)

Edit: A short bed is easily more than enough for the requirements you mentioned in the first post.

FTFY. Departure angle is the same for DCSB and DCLB since they are the same length from the back tires to the end of the bed.

    and DCLBs are lame :)

If you plan on using your truck to haul, home improvement, etc the extra length does help out.
