slowly but surely, how is your night so far?

 

Its was busy as all get out but now it has slowed down.... Thankfully! Was your relief on time yesterday?

 

Same here start of shift was a mad house now all is calm. No I didn't get to leave till 4:30 this morn

 

It would have been on! An hour and half late wow. Hopefully you got some sleep yesterday.

 

Lol I was and she knew it trust me and I ended up going to bed around 6 am and the ups guy woke me up at 10 so 4 hrs

 

Got to hate that! I got family coming in today so I will probably sleep maybe 4 hours. Got a full floor tonight?

 

Yep full tonight and it's been crazy, had an incident earlier go down with a new patient we got in yesterday but other than that nothing major so not to bad without much sleep.

 

Jason Did y'all get any bad weather up that way this eve?

 

Family coming in for the 4th?

 

No we didn't was and still is hot! When I left the house it was 98. I moved into a new home back in April and tried to grow some grass but all I have now is a dust bowl. What about ya'll? Think all the rain is still north and west of us.

 

Yeah got my cousin coming in from VA staying till Sunday. Friday we are making salsa all day. We do it every year to sell for the MDA we make between 150 and 200 pints. Going to be a blast!

 

Yeah same here no bad weather just hot was 82 when I came in tonight at 10 and it's 77 now, just hot and sticky

 

Got to love rambunctious patients!

 

Same here its 78 degrees and 78% humidity. On the way home in the mornings I can flip on the AC and it blows fog for a few minutes.

 

That is awesome and for a good cause ,and a lot of salsa lol nothing better than fresh mAde salsa with some blue corn chips and sour cream

 

Lol def love hate relationship this one was just plain out mean lol

 

Got my mouth watering love the sour cream! Never heard of the blue corn chips gonna have to find some and try them.

 

Not sure how ya'll handle them in a hospital setting but in the field the medics can calm them down real quick. I think it has something to do with the gauge of the needles and location of the IV. The drunk ones well....that's another story

 

We have accomplished making us both lol oh yeah blue corn chips are the best, there's a cafe in Durham called the blue corn cafe they have the best
