He has some nice stuff, and a large majority of it may be high quality workmanship, but it seems that when something goes wrong, he wants to place the blame on anything and everything but himself. That is not a good quality, and reflects on him as a person, and also on his business.

 

Ive never bought anything directly from him but my sliders were the bolt ons and one was welded an inch higher than the other on the frame plates and when on the high lift they actually touched my cab at the pinch weld under the rocker panel

 

Did he blame that on the shipping company?

 

i bought them second hand so I had no authority to... Previous guy didn't know cause he never used them or tested them... The HI LIFT test caused them to touch the cab would have been scared to see what a rock bash would do... Also never posted it publicly cause I am not one to care... Just wanted to recoup some money and so I am sure the next guy will figure that out... Porchop sold them a while ago so I am not worried who has em

 

Only thing he makes that is good is that light bar and its not his original design

 

I've been doing business with him for years now with no problems.

 

That is a typical issue with his sliders from what I have heard.

Some can't even be installed without a body lift or bashing the pinch weld up

Except the shitty LCA skids he sold you

 

They aren't shitty to me

 

Sorry if that came off wrong... I know you are happy, but:

You had to cut them to fit.
They broke the first day you tried to use them.
They are still faulty and could break at any moment if touched by a rock


My TC's fit great out of the box and been bashed for half a decade with no issues Still the original bolts and they require no welding or cutting to install or make them "offroad safe".

 

Im not trying to butt heads with you Craig... But it seems that there is a serious LACK of quality control when its anything that has to do with east coast members...

I ALSO remember very clearly when I had ordered my light bar from him and I posted a pivture on IG I had a few guys post on my pic asking when I ordered it vs when I recieved it...

Took 5 days for me to get my light bar... Not complaining but they were... Took them 4-5 weeks one of them said cause he bought his in a group buy...

 

4-5 weeks from time of order to delivery? Not bad with the amount of orders he could have had from a group buy.

 

The photos are all out of whack because it seems it's using a legacy database.

 

Thats all TCbob on that one. "Misc" is a conglomerate of my threads and others that were saved when most other information was purged from the database.

 

I ordered mine 3 weeks after the GB ended and got it 3 days later... I just looked on my instagram and it was 50 weeks ago.. It was last years GB in may...

The guy had to wait another 2 weeks to get his and it was actually more like 2 months now thinking about it... From say May 1st (random date) to july 23rd tthats a long time considering someone ordered theres june 10th (again random date) and got it the 13th or 14th or 15th of the same month

 

Please just stop... GB purchases will always take longer because they got a discount.

Do you really think a company would devote 100% of it's production to a GB and cut off it's normal customers paying full price?

Looks an awful lot like you're jumping on the bandwagon. There's no way someone like you would wait months to complain about something. You even did a write up on how to drill holes, very educational.
