Seems to repeat the same reason over and over, "not correct according to 30+ mechanic". Air pressure is air pressure. A breather hose sees the same pressure whether it is aligned vertical or horizontal.

He does make the point of possible water ingestion but you will rarely (in comparison to the axle level) have water at the gas filler level and as long as the breather valve has enough vertical tilt to close it, it'll be fine.

 

Finally got an alignment today. Getting ready to wheel and camp next week. Glass is finally coming in on Monday but probably will wait until after the trip to put them on.

Finally got my truck running right, I still need to get spindle from chad but it was all this emissions/electrical issues that had me worried the most, after all the troubleshooting I did , it all came down to 1 little scrawny brown wire at the very end of the harness end of the igniter (its under the cruise control module on pass. side)......

& it was just by chance I saw it move a little , then it slid out of the connector all together, said to myself .." Ahhh you little piece of fuck."

stripped a bit of insulation off the end so it;d be fresh connection, shoved it back into connector, hit the starter & like magic, started right up like there was nothing ever wrong... CEL went off ....finally a "win" for my team....

Right where my finger is pointing is the weak link, small brown wire on end of igniter connection...

 

So its heaven right? Why doesnt virginia beach have any of these
