hey Jason, you can do VIN checks to see what everything a vehicle has on it right? I still dont know everything that my truck has on it and id love to know exactly what it has if you were able to do that

I technically can, but am not going to sit here and list everything. He asked me about the tow package via pm. I don't mind running vins to check for recalls and stuff lime that, but if you want to know all the details of your truck, swing by your local dealer and ask them to run it and give you a print out.

 

Hell yes!!!!!!!! Thanks man. I stumbled across a thread where people were sold trucks with "tow packages" but all the dealer did was throw a hitch and a connector on it. I was worried that I might have fell victim of that.

alfuh, pretty sure your truck doesn't have anything you don't already know, the only things that may or may not be in question is prob whether or not you have a lsd, and a factory tow package, everything else is normal sr5 package

 

true that, i've kinda been wanting to see what all my truck has on it since I bought her. I tried pulling my VIN info from online and had to pay to view that information and I wasn't going to pay to get that info from online

 

just my particular experience, i stopped by the local dealer to do the same thing, they couldn't give me the info because my truck was purchased in PA originally, but they gave me the dealer it was, i called them, they actually emailed me the spec sheet (not the window sticker) but what they had in their system, mine just showed lsd, and a toyota hitch installed at port (no tow package for me) in addition to what was standard on sr5

 

Well, the wanna be hi lift works well. Can't tell, but the front wheel is off the ground.

 

Does anyone know.....Does hi lift use a different lifting mechanism from the 48 to the 60??? I am looking at these 2 jacks and they look darn near identical except the length. I am thinking i can swap the hi lift mechanism to the 60" and be done with it.

Well, i was able to swap the jacking mechanisms from one Jack to the other. Makes me feel a little more secure with the 60" now.


Now to figure out where the heck to store this big ole Jack.
