    Pics from yesterday.

Touched up the sliders from last summer... finally. Mostly on the underside to prevent more surface rust. But also hit the top with a light coat. Went from flat to semi gloss.

Also blacked out the wheel wells. Again semi-gloss.

I've found that spraying the leading faces and undersides of the sliders with the spray on under coating works really well. It faces and looks dumpy, but it holds up better to ask the salt/sand much better than regular rattle can our the spray on bedliner

yeah, I'm unsure of what to keep using.

Both times now I've just used Rustoleum enamel.

I'm not thinking about the underside too much because it's going to get chewed up no matter what. But I would like a little texture for the top by the doors. My daughter and GF are always slipping on them.

I'll have to do this in the fall before winter hits.

They do get chewed up in the rocks, it just really helps to keep the rust off in the winter.

My kids are the same way. I was thinking about grip tape but that'll also shred their knees and pants so I dunno.

    I hear ya.

They don't use road salt here but they use liquid Mag-Chloride (another type of salt.

The only rust issue I had was where I dragged them across rocks, got down to bare metal... then stupidly took 11 months to touch it up. If I stay on touch of the touch up I don't think I'll have much issue.

The spot where she gets in and out of the truck gets so wore down and smooth it's like glass.

I was thinking of masking off a nice length and spraying it with Bed Armor (I really like that stuff on my bed rack)

My interior was dirtier than Kim kardashian (ok, maybe not) so I vacuumed and armor alled. I still had mud splattered all over from my last off road trip. It cleans up nice though.

Found a 2002 dcab 4x4 TRD in gold sort of close by. The place is asking 11,6k and it has ~250k miles on the motor but the body and interior look immaculate. Seriously considering...

4x4 is a huge part in the value though.

Still considering if worth the hassle. Thinking starting at 9k and seeing what they counter with. Just thinking of all the work to switch everything over then what to do with the xtra cab.

I feel like I got a solid deal on mine. $7800 for 156k on it for a 4x4 xtracab V6 manual TRD. I feel like V6 manual 4x4 is the most sought after.

Edit Keilbasa? We got another pollock on the site? Rogies and kelibasa ftw. or are we talking about dick size? Otherwise the conversation makes me uncomfortable and I need to speak to an adult.

That's a good deal... I got my 99 V6 Manual everything (NON TRD) with 125k OME full lift TMJ bumper and Softtopper for $8,300. I wish'd it had the e-locker, but that'll be coming this winter along with 4.88's

Vac type bleeders will tend to suck in air around the loosened bleeder screw threads, showing the micro bubbles you describe. It does not hurt anything or get into the system. This can be eliminated or minimized by putting some Teflon tape on the screw threads or use some thick non-drying thread sealant (better).
