    my truck is telling me to fuck off with maybe 600 pounds of sail boat lol.

    i think a lot of that is wind drag because it sticks out so much further past the truck

    Wind drag is a bitch. It makes trailers more noticeable than just their weight.

    Up in Boise prerunning that wash with Mark I got my brakes stupid hot multiple times.

    Out in the dunes last weekend I hardly even touched my brakes actually. There was always room to either coast to a stop or I was using that speed to get back up the other dune.

    Overall yes, I should upgrade my brakes. As far as I know I still have the stock pads and shoes on. Not sure if I want to go with the BBK since I don't really want to jump to 17's anytime soon.

    Drilled and slotted would help with heat and you wouldn't have to change your wheel size, but damn I always get skeerd a rock would get stuck and fuck your shit up royally.

    I'm one of them. I don't even have the splash guard thingie on there and have zero issues with them. Centric rotors with porterfield racing carbon kevlar pads. I can squall 37's at freeway speeds no problemo. They work very well for a stock replacement set up, and would find it hard to believe that anyone on here (cept maybe torspd and some of the track dudes) would ever need more brake than that. http://porterfield-brakes.com/images/portstrt2008_11_06_02_45_30.pdf

    I am also one of them had a set of slotted and cross drilled on my taco and I have a set on my cummins. Going to eventually do a set on the Dana 60 that's going under the Tacoma.
