My hood ski resort = timberline lodge. Mt hood meadows and ski bowl are other resorts on hood. Timberline lodge is the cool one...filmed the shining there. Another cool place is smith rock state park. Neat even if you don't climb. Great hikes! Going to be hot in August though! Winston wildlife safari is neat too. A little pricey but cool.

No no, look up Casa Diablo in Portland :) Let them know you're from out of state and that you've heard great stuff about that place so you went to go see what's so great about it :)

    Not feeling the love..

    J/K

Jasmine has never been in the PNW. our time will be hitting the usual spots in Oregon, Washington, Northern California and all adjacent vicinity e's in between is only limited to just 10 days. Crossing the border into BC will most likely put us out of our game plan in seeing everything that we want to see, unfortunately.

If you are heading to Eastern Oregon theres some cool spots. I'm in La Grande and the Mt. Emily Off-Road Area is about 10 minutes from town. Theres a few fun trails, nothing too extreme. Also if you are in the area Joseph Oregon is def worth checking out. Little town at the base of the Eagle Cap Mtns, and Wallowa Lake. Great little town, with an excellent brewery close by(Terminal Gravity). Lots of cool hikes, Forest Service roads, and few people.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Check out the Rogue Pub while you're in Astoria...great beer and great food!

Also, the LeMay Car museum in Tacoma is pretty cool, if you're into classic/vintage cars

Since you're already stopping by Crater Lake, head a little further south and check out the Laval Beds National Monument (Captain Jacks Stronghold) and the Oregon Caves. Totally awesome places to visit. I'd probably even head up to the Caves with you depending what day you were in town. Sounds like a super fun trip.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Pancake house. I think that's what it is called. Plate sized flap jacks for a few bucks.

    Edit: hotcake house.

What are you driving up there? Your black tacoma? Could always check out the Oregon dunes on the coast and Tillamook state forest/browns camp between Portland and Tillamook. There are also some beautiful waterfalls. Look up some stuff on roadtrippers
