What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Looks good! I'm curious at how difficult these are to install yourself. I was thinking about getting a stage 2 but I have no experience or mechanical skills. Are they reletivaly easy to install or should I just take it to a dealer. Thanks

 

I had the rear shocks done in about 10-15 mins on our lift and the front may take me 30-45 mins.

 

Was wondering about that too until I looked at acorn nuts. They dont go all the way through either and these ar long shank opened ends. They are grabbing about 14 threads. About the same as an acorn does.

The rears are easy since you don't even need to take off the rear wheels. The fronts can be a bitch

 

new battery - buddy of mine had to replace the orginal battery today due to a dead cell in his 2011 taco. drove home for lunch from work and would she would not make sound after lunch. no warning at all....

 

Moved 350 pieces of 12 x 12 travertine today , just kissing the Superbumps

 

I bet that weighed a Butt-Ton...

 

I looked it up , generally they weigh between 3 - 4 lbs each , so 1200-1400lbs , something in there

 

Now that's some weight!...

 

So...between 6-7 200lb guys in the truck bed in layman terms...lol That would be a site!

started swapping out my stock wheel studs for longer ones, put sum LCA skids on, installed a transfer case skid, new front brake pads, ordered new wheels,(method NV's machined fnish) too bad I gotta go back to work, actually it helps me not buy stuff for my truck lol

 

Picked up a 48" HiLift jack today and mounted it to my bed rail. While I was reading the instructions, I learned it could be used for winching, like a come-along. Has anyone used a HiLift as a winch? How well did it work? It would be convenient to use this as a winch until I get a real one; otherwise, I'll buy a real come-along.
