Trying to find someplace to wheel here in indiana but all I see is miles and miles of flat corn/beanfields. Guess i'll go find a lake to chill by since there's several of those locally.

I am gonna redo my suspension soon on the front & I was wondering which is better to go with the 886 or 887 coils & 5100 adjustable shocks or different shocks. Do I need to replace the front with aftermarket UCA's? I had 1 boy tell me he wouldn't waste the money on new coils just run the 5100's adjusted to whatever height I want & leave the spacers in if I ever decided to put a bumper on later but I was trying to get rid of the spacers. I was also looking at the 4" rough country lift but I wasn't sure if I wanted to go that route.

I don't think you will find many people advising you to go with rough country lifts.

The OME coils arent going to break the bank and you should be able to run the 5100's at "0" with them.

I don't see any issues with alignment with this config. What size tires?

My issue with peoples that run this combo is...Why buy a coil spring that produces lift AND a shock that produces lift. Granted the 5100's are a great shock but it is recomended to use a shock that is "paired" or "tuned" with the coil spring. You will spend just a tad bit more but I would go with OME nitrochargers.
    Just my 2 cents,

I would not run the 5100 with OME coils. I would stick with the 886. Plenty good.

Mine fits 33's real well. :D Nobody likes a drop bracket lift though.

I was just wondering because everybody I talked to said run 886 w/ 5100 set at 0 but I didn't see where it made a whole lot of sense to buy a adjustable shock if you wasn't using it for any lift. Which will give me more lift 5100 set at 2.75" or 886 coils

Haha I bet , I was thinking of going to the 6" if I did a rough country lift because it was the same as the 4 but I don't want to regear to run 35's

Ok , with 3" do you need to do UCA's or not. I just don't want to have anything in a bind that is gonna wear out quick. I just want to do it right when I redo it so I don't have to mess with it later.

A UCA is better because it can be aglinened better. And I would get the 886 with OME. I saw light racing UCA for 400

Alright , It will be a little while so I have time to shop around. I need to get rid of some of these parts out of my garage & my wife informed me she wants a lift on her jeep since I was talking about redoing mine.

885 coil on 5100s set at zero if not planning on a bumper or anything heavy on front.
886 coil if planning on armor.
