Got my new tires mounted!

Ended up going 33x10.5. Really didn't want to get wider wheels to fit the 12.5's and I know you and a few others recommend the skinnies, so figured I'd give it a shot.

 

I think it looks great. Perfect stance and tire/fender gap ratio.

Haha, I know what you mean. Mine involved a mini gold course, a cow field, cows, and a farmer with a rifle. But that's a story for a different day.lol. And someone said Nashville would be boring.

I actually do it quite a bit. I was never a fan of the cap, so I look for every reason to take it off, but it does come in quite handy. I think my two friends that lift nearby are getting to the point of wanting to hide when I ask for help with it.lol. Quite honestly though, I think it looks awesome with the new tires and cap.

Thanks Guys! I was a little upset they didn't make it for last weekend's trip, but very happy with them. Old ones are getting picked up tomorrow.

 

Went and test drove several vehicles yesterday:
Jeep Grand Cherokee
Dodge Durango
Ford Edge
Ford Explorer
Toyota 4Runner
Toyota Highlander
VW Tiguan

I gotta say, I am probably leaning towards the Durango. Very comfortable, has a lot of space, and a good amount of pep. One thing that shocked me was that the Durango and Grand Cherokee come with a system that makes the car a wifi hotspot (with a subscription of course). Never thought I'd see that as an option. What's next in cars?

 

How long do you have to pick a vehicle? I only ask because the new Ford Edge comes out soon and it doesnt sound bad for your options.

I would get the Grande Cherokee with the Ecodiesel.

 

The lease goes back in December, but I'm at 76k on it, so they're talking about sending it back early. It has many issues. The newest one I found just a few minutes ago. Battery crapped out.

well it looks like my prevailing wage job has come to an abrupt end when i got a call on thursday that i have been accepted into state corrections for the orientation and physical test this tuesday which was very unexpected being that a friend of mine got his letter 2weeks before the class and them leaving me with 4 DAYS! lol so i guess all my extra mods will be held off good thing i did cuz i need the money for uniforms if i pass i was actually going to try and make it to the planned trip but i guess not

LOL just slap in dem dakars man. My leafs are almost flat at ride height but still have a slight arch to them. I have about 3-4" of uptravel and probably 8 or 9" down. When they're flat they ride nice and plush
