Ya I know theres a lot more snow out there in KS but ive not lived in VA. But by the weather look right now its like typhoon season lol. Kinda looking at the Bridgestone dueler H/L alenza plus, and Goodyear assurance cs tires now cause one of the guys said bout what you're saying its more rain there than anything except last year that had alot of snow and said his Michelin Ltx ms2 did ok but everywhere I keep looking cant get them till mid august and her tires on there now two have slow leaks and not worth patching up.

Oh, okay... If I get Internet out there on my Android phone, I will check this thread. I am guessing I will take 06HAOLE out to Devil's Slide and Shell Reef first??? Then maybe down Tarantula Wash to Hwy 78... then back west to Split Mountain Road... and south... ? But no definite plans... just casual off roading.

Looking for a 1st gen, have someone buying my 93 corola on Saturday so I'm looking to replace it with a truck. Around $2500 to $4000. I know it's a long shot but I figured id see if anyone knows of anything. Don't really care about condition as it's gonna be a work truck. Just has to be an extra cab and automatic as my mom will also be driving it. Let me know if you guys know of anything!

Mostly Tacomas...

Here is my photo report:

Epic Night Run indeed! Good people in good trucks... only a couple of incidents, but nothing we couldn't handle in the dark!

2 am was 93ºF, but it was a dry heat.

We got to sleep by 4 am and up by 7 am... That's all you need!

Here are the photos I took, some are blurry, 3 taken with my phone, the bighorn sheep was right off Hwy. 78 at the Narrows, where we took a leak break... Pretty cool, eh?

Thank you for organizing the trip... even with the 4 runs on the Pole Line Road and pulling the GMC out of the same sand, twice!

Viva Baja in the USA!

That's the ticket to coming home in one piece... 4WD and stock suspension... but I had to keep it under 100 while off roading! :D

Thank you everyone, we had fun... 06HAOLE will get his truck running soon, I am sure... He and his amigo Nick were great co-drivers and are welcome in my Tacoma anytime!

El Cajon Classic Cruise "Off Road Madness"
Start: 07/16/2014 3:00 pm
Every Wednesday night during the summer months, the City of El Cajon hosts the El Cajon Classic Cruise. The classic cruise is a weekly car show that features a different theme each week and is usually limited to classic cars and vehicles that complement the weekly theme. On July 16, 2014, the theme is Off Road Madness; so wash the dirt and mud off your beast and bring it to the event on July 16. It is best to get there early, 3:00 pm if possible.

Last year I got there at 3pm and it was already full. All the old cars and a 100 Jeeps showed up super early.

I will try to be there early as possible with my wife hopefully by 2:30. We should try to block off some spots, I'm so happy someone brought this up I talked to a few member about this and was hoping some others would be down. Jeff truck is still amazing ha I've been on a few runs with Iseeredandyellow (Jeff) and Gary and it's been fun, same with my wifes truck we get a lot of complements on her front bumper she still diggs it a lot too. How's the baby situation? I've got some good news too brotha I'm about to be a dad my wife is 8 weeks I'm super stoked and can't wait but kind of sucks too cuz I can't really buy stuff anymore and gotta start saving.

Smart man. Bigger tires = more headaches. Your truck flew around with those 33s.

Thats why I went with 33's. 35's I would have gained more stress and headache than good.
