I caught the last 20, probably looked like the first 240. I love these new cars, and nascar is on the right track, but waaaaay too much downforce and aero at this track, looks like no one could pass other than on restarts.

And congrats on BK with the domination, got pole, set track record, led most laps, and got the W; that's domination!

Keselowski cut his hand on the champagne bottle and had to go to the care center for stitches during his VL celebration, lol. dude goes 110% no matter what, some hate him for it though, but I like it.

I didn't watch the race. How many phantom debris on the race track cautions did they have to tighten up the field?

None that I remember! Brad was dominating so bad I think they just felt sorry for everybody and let it end as quickly as possible!

I told my fiance and the kids about halfway through the race that BK or Logano was going to win that race. Penske had the best two cars there by far that night. You knew who was going to win the race early on. I like Kentucky Speedway, but there was very little drama or suspense as to who would take the checkered flag.

Looks like a little more rain again around 1:00 p.m. I can see jr pulling off a rain shortened race.

I missed the race because I was visiting my dad on Sunday. Seems like two big crashes really upset the field. Danica did a good job of avoiding the two big ones, and she was right in the middle. She's getting better. Nice 8th place finish for her. My sister laughed when I told her Amirola won. Her first comment was "How bad were the wrecks? No way he won outright!" Hahaha.

Only like 8 cars weren't involved in either of the 2 wrecks. I think that's the number I heard. I didn't get to watch eiter.

Yeah, she got hit in the front on the first one, and front and rear on the second one. A LOT of big names were seriously involved. My sister was not happy that J.J. got knocked out in the first one.

That race weekend was a disaster weather wise, and the racing sucked too. Why there is a plate race in the chase from a competition stand point I'll never understand

Keselowski brought out the broom this weekend! :) Idc much for Lagano but that sucked what happened to him. Also Johnson blamed tire in interview and was only one with tire issues, too much rear tire camber with low air pressure in his set up IMO. Pretty good race though.

There were others over the weekend with tire issues. Can't remember who had to go to a backup because of it.
NASCAR implemented some rules for the camber and dog tracking offset a few years ago.
They were sick of seeing the cars going sideways down the straight and breaking axles.

The second tire was way below what it should have been. Looked like a drag slick. I was sitting right where he hit the wall. I don't think it would have been that low from the pits. He came right back up to speed the first few laps with no hesitation.
When he went into 1 and it was already low because it kicked out before he even settled the suspension. It was a hard hit.

    Cautions for debris.
Yeup I can see why race fans are hating Nascar.
There was a long run and everyone was spread evenly out. getting boring so they threw a caution for debris in turn one. They went out and picked up two pieces of rubber that was there like 30 laps ago. The same stuff was looked at by track workers earlier with no warrent to go get.
    Again long run.
OMG a drink cup jumps onto the track.
    Closes up the group.

    Danica.
    My observation.
I paid close attention to her all day.
    She passed about 20 cars.
To bad they were the same 5 cars.
Pass on the track, lose in the pits. Start over.
They were not easy passes either.
Her car was not right all day.
    She isn't a slouch.

Brad had a rocket. And he drove the hell out of it.

Morgan Shepard was in the way all day. He should have been black flagged.
He was maintaining min speed so he wasn't however, he was so far back, about 27 laps at the end, that something was going to happen.

This was my first live race in years in the stands. I could almost tell when things were going to happen. To much pomp and circumstance before hand.
Although recycled percussion had one hell of concert on the front straight.

I need to go see the world of outlaws sprint cars at the Monster mile. think it will be a Better show.

Nascar is definately corporate as we all know but you can really see and feel it live.

They can still put rear tire camber in, and teams use low air pressure to get more grip, teams are trying to get all they can and know if they go too far with that combo tires will fail like JJ's did, he said that second one just exploded, no warning, bad luck.

Those debris cautions were mostly legit all but 1, plus a shorter track so caution decisions need to be made sooner. There were several top 10 cars that had trash on their grills, nascar does a pretty decent job with caution decisions, I don't mind bunching them up after a long run, with how closely cars run now it would be nearly impossible for any good car running 9th to get up front without them.
